Commanders vs. Ravens (ML -280) — 2 units

Saturday, August 27th @ 7:00pm

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.  The Baltimore Ravens have won 22 preseason games in a row.  We have been riding this streak for a few years and we feel no reason to stop now.  Jim Harbaugh puts an emphasis on winning preseason games that other coaches simply do not.  They also feature an incredibly efficient backup QB in Tyler Huntley who has gone 29-32 in victories over the Titans and Cardinals.

We expect more of the same this week from the Ravens.  Lamar Jackson will not play, and the Ravens will continue to hold back their key starters – but that has been the case in both of their victories so far.

For the Commanders, head coach Ron Rivera said that his starters would see “very limited” playing time, so we can infer from this that starting QB Carson Wentz will only see a drive or two.  Washington is 0-2 this preseason.

The Ravens are close to a touchdown favorite and call us overly cautious, but in the preseason we don’t like to lay that many points and again we’ll play it conservative and take the Ravens on the moneyline.  Hey, if something has happened 22 times in a row and we can get the 23rd at less than -300 – we’ll take it.
