One of the toughest challenges for Mike Norvell has been to change the mentality of a program that has been constantly reminded that it’s falling short of being the perennial powerhouse from years before. This is Year 3 for Norvell, and with the 24-23 win over LSU, there’s a sense that maybe this 2022 Seminoles football team is starting to build some confidence and belief that they belong on the big stage. Another night of defensive end Jared Verse and linebacker Tatum Bethune being disruptive at the line of scrimmage, with another solid rushing attack from their trio of runningbacks and just enough plays through the air and/or on the ground from quarterback Jordan Travis, will help get the Seminoles to 3-0 for the first time since 2015.
