Buffalo Bills team total over 29.5 points  — 2 units

In Buffalo’s Week 1 win over the Rams, the Bills turned the ball over an uncharacteristic 4 times, yet still went on to score 31 in their trouncing of the defending champs in their own backyard.  4 turnovers and 30+ points don’t seem to mesh, but they do when you consider that Buffalo never punted in the game.  That’s the easiest paycheck Bill’s punter Sam Martin will ever get.

Josh Allen went 26 for 31 in the game for 297 yards and showed no fear in going after Jalen Ramsey, considered one of the top corners in the game.  Against Tennessee, he won’t have to deal with the talent level of the Rams defense as the Titans come in with a defensive power ranking of 29th per Pro Football Focus.  The Tennessee D lost some key contributors via free agency from their ‘21 team, but their biggest loss was a season-ending injury to linebacker Harold Landry during the preseason.  Look for Allen to find open passing lanes against a very young Tennessee secondary.

We don’t think we’ll get too many opportunities to get a team total under 30 for the Bills this season, especially in Buffalo.  We’re happy to jump on the over here and pay the extra juice that we are seeing at most shops.  Bovada is currently offering 29.5 at (–125).  Make sure to always shop around, particularly when betting team totals, as they often have more discrepancies than the game lines themselves.
