Vikings (–2.5) vs. Saints

In Week 3, the Vikings were lucky to escape with a win.  They should send a thank you note to Dan Campbell for inexplicably attempting a 54-yard field goal with a little over a minute left, gifting the Vikings a short field and a win.  New Orleans went down to Carolina by a score of 22-14.  Their offense is stuck in neutral as they have scored a total of 3 points in the first 3 quarters of their last two games.  Jameis Winston’s game is clearly being affected by a rib injury.  A trip to London to play the Vikings probably won’t help matters for him.  Until this New Orleans offense starts to show some signs of life, we’ll continue to fade them.  This line has bounced back and forth between 2.5 and 3.  We suggest grabbing up the 2.5 offered at BetOnline now.

Seahawks vs. Lions — over 48

We hit on the Lions team total to go over last week against the Vikings.  We’ll go back to the well here and take the game total to go over 48 as Geno Smith and the Seahawks roll into town.  The Lions quietly have one of the top offenses in the league, averaging 31 points per game.  The running game is working behind D’Andre Swift, which is opening up play action for Jared Goff.  The issues for the Lions are on the other side of the ball, as they match the offense by giving up 31 per game.  While we aren’t high on Geno Smith and this Seahawks team, they moved the ball well against Atlanta last week and they’ll do the same against a struggling Lions stop unit.  48 is a reasonable and key number.  Let’s grab this before it goes up.  Check out our friends at BetUS to play this over.

Bears vs. Giants — under 39.5

You will often hear us refer to “under” teams and “over” teams, and we are always looking for spots when we can find under teams playing each other or over teams facing off.  We have that here when Chicago heads to Jersey on Sunday.  The Giants have played to the under twice and pushed with the Cowboys on Monday night – with the total set at 39.  The Bears have also played to the under two of their three games.  The Giants bring in the 30th-ranked passing offense by yardage and the Bears bring in the worst in the league.  In fact, Justin Fields has only thrown 23 completions this season.  For some perspective, Josh Allen completed 42 last week.  This will be a fast-moving, low-scoring game, and while we’d like to catch this at 40, we don’t see the number going up.  We’ll play it now at MyBookie and we hope you’ll do the same.
