Kentucky (+6.5) vs. Mississippi

Wildcat RB Chris Rodriguez Jr makes his 2022 debut on Saturday against Ole Miss and his timing couldn’t be better.  Injuries to the WR corps and inexperience along the offensive line has led to a slow start for the Kentucky offense, despite the presence of future NFL QB Will Levis.  Overall, the Rebels have played well on D but sprung some leaks against Tulsa last week allowing over 6 yards per carry.  The Ole Miss offense just isn’t the same without Matt Corral.  They are running the ball 60% of the time and Jaxson Dart doesn’t look comfortable running Lane Kiffin’s fast-paced offense.  This game was at 7, but it’s mostly 6.5’s now. We think Kentucky has a great chance to win this outright.  We’re glad to take the points.  Bet this one at MyBookie.

Oklahoma State vs. Baylor (-2)

Oklahoma State has been playing elite defense for several years, but they showed some chinks in the armor in Week 1 when they gave up 31 points in the last 20 minutes of the game to Central Michigan.  Their toughest game thus far is a 34-17 win over Arizona State, a team that fired their coach a week later.  Meanwhile, Baylor has been tested.  The Bears took BYU to overtime in a rock fight and handled a tough Iowa State team last week 31-24.  The Baylor D has been tough on OSU QB Spencer Sanders.  The last time these teams met, Sanders threw four picks against zero TDs.  We see more of the same coming on Saturday, so we’ll lay the short number with the home team.  Check out our friends at BetOnline to grab the favorite at –2.

FIU vs. New Mexico State (-14.5)

How bad is FIU to be getting fourteen and a hook against New Mexico St?  Well, they’re bad enough for us to lay those points and grab a ticket on the Aggies.  Last week, FlU was shut out 73-0 by Western Kentucky.  They haven’t covered in eight straight.  They are without question, the worst team in the FBS.  New Mexico St is not particularly good either, but they showed signs of life in a 45-26 win over Hawaii.  Look, they can’t all be ‘Bama vs Georgia, but the money we win is just as green.  Look for New Mexico State to dominate this game that only the parents of the players and degenerates like me will be watching.  Check out our friends at Bovada to bet on this slugfest.
