Kansas (+9) vs. Oklahoma

Here are the reasons you should bet on Oklahoma this week:  They were embarrassed last week in the Red River Rivalry and should want to take that out on someone.  Their quarterback Dillon Gabriel should be back for this one.  Kansas lost their starting QB to injury last week and he’ll almost certainly be out for this game.

Here is why you should not bet on Oklahoma this week:  They suck.

They could not score a point against Texas.  The run defense has given up on average over 300 yards per game in the last 3 weeks as they have missed covering the spread by 41, 36, and 20 points.  And now they are favored by 9 over a team that had an 8-game cover streak broken by a push last week – to a TCU team that lit up Oklahoma 55-24 a couple of weeks ago.

Kansas is going to be fine with backup quarterback Jason Bean, who was the QB last season when Kansas lost 35-23 to the Sooners – as 38-point pups.  We’ll be surprised if Kansas doesn’t win this one outright, but we will take 9 and say thank you to our friends at Bovada.
