Penn State (+7) vs. Michigan

Michigan is number 5 in the AP Top 25, but what exactly have they done so far?  They started the season with the cushiest schedule possible without playing an FCS school, as Hawaii, UConn and Colorado State had no answers for the Wolverines.  They have remained unbeaten, but their best win may be a seven-point home victory over Maryland.  Penn State has had a couple of hangover games themselves, but have looked strong in road wins at Purdue and Auburn.  Michigan’s 99th-rated strength of schedule may be hiding some deficiencies, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.  We think Sean Clifford and company will be able to move the ball and if they can avoid turnovers should keep this one close.  Last year, Michigan beat the Nittany Lions in a slugfest 21-17.  We see a similar result and we think the seven comes in handy.  We’ll play this at BetOnline.
