Texas vs. Oklahoma State — under 61
Both of these teams come into this one-off of hard-fought games. Texas was taken to the wire by Iowa State while Oklahoma State dropped a double overtime thriller to TCU. The total for this game has been dropping from an opener of 65, and for good reason. First, Spencer Sanders, the Oklahoma St. quarterback has been nursing a shoulder injury and his status for the game is very questionable. Head coach Mike Gundy would not elaborate on Sanders’ injury or status for the game in a presser yesterday. Equally important to the total is the forecast of 24 mph sustained winds throughout the game gusting to the 30’s. This type of wind will neutralize a downfield passing game and make field goals an adventure. There is no bigger friend to the “under” bettor than high winds. Make sure to check the weather before you place bets this week – especially if you are thinking of betting some overs, as windy conditions are expected in several games across the mid and southwest. We’ll ride the under in this one. You can grab this line with our friends at BetUS.
