NHL (11/1/22): Golden Knights vs. Capitals – Vegas Eyes 5-Game Winning Streak

The Washington Capitals (5-4-1) are coming off an incredibly hard-fought shootout loss at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes last night in Raleigh and now they must travel back home to play arguably the hottest team in the league, the Vegas Golden Knights (8-2-0).

The “Caps” will undoubtedly be going into this game with tired legs here and should really struggle to score against an elite Golden Knights defense that ranks #1 in goals against (1.70 GA/GP) and save percentage (.941 SV%). I’m not convinced that Vegas is going to run up the score, but I can’t see the Capitals scoring more than two or three goals either, and that’ll most likely be the difference in this highly-contested matchup.

Prediction:  Bet on the Vegas Golden Knights (-125) to win their 5th game in a row at MyBookie
