CFB Week 12: TCU vs. Baylor – Horned Frogs Stay Undefeated?

If the College Football Playoffs started today, TCU would be in – but they still get surprisingly little respect from the betting market.  Last week, the Horned Frogs traveled to Austin as seven-point underdogs to the Texas Longhorns.  Seemingly all of the “sharp” bettors were on Texas in this spot except the team at Underthecovers.us.  We released TCU +7 early in the week, believing an entire touchdown was far too much to give the undefeated Frogs.  TCU delivered with a physical beatdown of Texas, by a score of 17-10.  TCU won the game with their best defensive effort of the season by holding the country’s best running back, Bijon Robinson to only 29 yards on the ground.  This week TCU goes on the road again to take on Baylor.  Baylor got trounced by Kansas State at home last week 31-3, only mustering a field goal at the end of the first half.  TCU finds itself a short favorite in this one, just under the key number of 3.  We have been riding this team all year and they have come through with a spread record of 8-1-1.  We’re not getting off this train until the market catches up to how good this team really is.

Prediction: We’ll lay the small price on the Frogs.  You can still catch a 2.5 at Bookmaker but grab it now.  This one is headed to 3.
