The Kansas Jayhawks have been one of the feel-good stories of the year as they have pulled some big upsets behind an explosive offense.  The story lately, however, has not been so much good news about the “O” as much as how poor the defense has been.  In their last six games against the better offenses of the Big 12, Rock Chalk Jayhawk has allowed an average of 40 points per game.  Yikes.  Unfortunately for them, Kansas State rolls into this one playing their best offense of the year.  Adrian Martinez will be out, but the better passing QB Will Howard gets the start.  Howard led the Wildcats to a 48-31 win over West Virginia last week behind a 28-point first quarter.

Prediction: This one should be a shootout and we expect Kansas State to play into the 40s once again.  We’ll play over the 37.5 (even) we see at Bovada now.
