Many experts thought that the Giants would take a step forward this year under rookie coach Brian Daboll, but not many expected them to have a 7-2 record at the halfway point of the season. The market just isn’t buying the Giants yet though, as evidenced by their being only favored by a field goal at home to the 3-6 Lions. Detroit owns the worst defense in the league in terms of yards given up and scoring. Saquon Barkley should have a big game as wind conditions will make it hard to move the ball through the air. The G-men have won five of six, each by more than a field goal. It isn’t asking too much for them to do the same here.
