Monday Night Football goes to Mexico this week and the Cardinals come into the game dinged up against the 49ers. QB Kyler Murray carries a “doubtful” designation and Colt McCoy is expected to start for a second straight week. Last week against the Rams, McCoy played well, throwing for 238 yards and a touchdown. He’ll have a tougher matchup this week against San Fransisco and their top-ranked defense. Speaking of injuries, McCoy was considered questionable all week but apparently is good to go. His top receiver DeAndre Hopkins is also nursing a hamstring injury – not a good ailment for a wide receiver. Lastly, the Cardinals look to start perhaps two backups on the offensive line, forcing McCoy to get the ball out quickly as we expect Joey Bosa and friends to make life hard on the Cardinals’ pass protection. McCoy is a veteran and we don’t expect him to try and push the ball downfield against the Niners’ defense. We expect him to check down quite a bit and don’t expect much success from the Arizona offense in general.
Prediction: Let’s grab the under on Colt McCoy’s passing yardage in this one. We can play under 218.5 at Bovada.
