Baltimore Ravens team total under 24.5

The injury bug has officially bitten the Baltimore Ravens.  Baltimore will go to the Superdome in New Orleans without the services of TE Mark Andrews and RB Gus Edwards.  The loss of Andrews can’t be overstated.  No quarterback relies on his TE more than Lamar Jackson relies on Andrews.  To make matters worse, the Ravens announced earlier in the week that top WR Rashod Batemon would be put on season-ending IR.  The team total for the Ravens for Monday Night Football is set at 24.5 by BetUS, a number they have not reached in four of their last five games.  The Ravens take on a Saints team that shut out the Raiders last week.  They held Las Vegas to 183 total yards and didn’t let them cross midfield until there were three minutes left in the game.  This just doesn’t look like a good matchup for the Baltimore offense, given their injury list and the fact that New Orleans allows the fewest rushing yards from opposing QBs, an important point since Lamar Jackson is simply the most dangerous QB in the league when he runs the ball.  Looking at the market, we see mostly Ravens team totals of 24, but our friends at BetUS are dealing a 24.5, and we are going under that key number.
