Miles Sanders over 80.5 yards rushing

One thing you cannot fix overnight in the NFL is a poor run defense.  If the D-linemen and linebackers can’t win their one-on-one battles at the point of attack, it can become nightmarish as opposing teams run at will.  This is what is happening to the Houston Texans right now.  Two weeks ago, Josh Jacobs ran for 143 yards and 3 TD’s in a Raiders blowout win over Houston.  How did the Texans respond?  They gave up 314 yards on the ground to the Titans, 219 of those to Derrick Henry, who wasn’t getting touched until he reached the 2nd level.  This week, Bovada has set Miles Sanders’ rushing total at 80.5. Consider this.  Last week, Tennessee’s 2nd leading rusher, Donte Hilliard, eclipsed that mark on only 8 carries.  The Eagles like to throw the ball around the yard, and Jalen Hurts poaches some of the running back carries.  That said, it’s easy to see the Eagles going to the ground a bit more in this one against the worst run D in the NFL.  As long as he gets his touches, all we need Sanders to do is reach his normal yards per carry (4.9) and he’ll go over 80.5 yards.  Grab this now at Bovada as we are seeing heavy juice on this prop at other shops.  We’re not the only ones who know how bad this Texans’ defense is.
