Pac-12 Championship (12/2): Utah vs. USC – Preview & Free Pick

The Trojans of USC currently sit fourth in the college football playoff rankings.  A win over the Utes will assure them a trip to the playoffs, but Utah handed the Southern Californians their only loss of the season.  While this is a tough matchup to be sure, we feel the Trojans get their revenge here and a trip to the playoffs.  Utah comes into this game with a clearly banged-up quarterback in Cam Rising.  In Utah’s game against Oregon a couple of weeks ago, Rising managed just 170 yards passing on 38 attempts for less than 4.5 yards per attempt – along with three picks.  TE Dalton Kincaid is also dealing with injuries, and he is a player the Utes need to have a big game like he did the last time the two teams met.  The Trojans have injuries themselves, but their most dangerous weapon, WR Jordan Addison, looks to be at full health after missing games earlier in the year.  This game is played indoors, in Allegiant Stadium in Vegas.  That should be an advantage to USC, whose speedsters will take advantage of the fast track.  The talented Utes defense didn’t have an answer for Caleb Williams in the first matchup, and they won’t here.  Williams cements the Heisman and the men of Troy go to the “Final Four”.  We’ll lay the 2.5 right now, as this number may hit 3, and we’ll play it at Bet US.
