After dropping a tough, two-point battle to the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon, a heated in-state rivalry game seems to be good enough motivation for the Hurricanes to bounce back. Miami has more bench depth than the Seminoles and should be able to exploit FSU’s suspect defense (ranked 287th in the country in points per game surrendered with 73.4) with the team’s high-octane offense. Miami moves at a fairly fast pace but does so without turning the ball over (ranked 43rd in the country in turnovers). While the Seminoles shoot well from beyond the arc, the Hurricanes have been effective at getting out on perimeter shooters. Miami should also have a decided edge on the glass as well, which will be a pivotal aspect in a game featuring two teams that shoot a ton from long range. Anything can happen in a rivalry game, so we’ll be safe and grab the Canes on the moneyline at BetOnline.
