Although the Kentucky Wildcats (9-4) might have picked up a 23-point win over their in-state rival Louisville Cardinals the last time out, it marked the seventh consecutive game that they’ve failed to cover the spread. The Wildcats have been one of the most overrated teams in the country so far this season, going 4-9 against the spread. On the other side, the LSU Tigers (12-1) are coming into this game smoking hot and on a seven-game winning streak following its win over Arkansas as a 4-point underdog. Kentucky should be able to pull out the win in this one, with some help from the rowdy home crowd in Rupp Arena, but covering by 11+ points against a tough SEC rival seems like quite the stretch. So we’ll grab the points at BookMaker with the LSU Tigers, which is 3-for-3 as an underdog this season — and is one basket away from winning all three games outright.
Prediction: LSU Tigers (+11)
